Life is short - Be happy

Watching this animation reminds me that life is short。From birth, school, marriage, work hard, old age and finally death comes....Let's reflect upon how we want to live our life. Let's decide to take life easy, learn to forgive, and pass on with peace in our spirit.

"If you want to change the fruits, you will have to change the roots. If you want to change the visible, you must first change the invisible" T Harv Eker

Have you ever feel frustrated with the things that are happening around you?
I believe we all do especially feelings towards someone or something we had attachment with.
We get frustrated most of the time when we can't get the things we want or when our loved ones disappointed us.

Being a virgo, I'm a truly a perfectionist.
I had several experiences with challenging relationships.
Instead of feeling frustrated, I release those negative emotions through meditation.
We can't control the things that is happening around us, esp the feelings of people, the environment, world economic situation etc. but I know in my heart I can control the way I react to changes.

It's pointless to stay angry or frustrated when people disappointed us. I do not want to carry any negative emotions when I pass on. Life is short and I want to stay happy always. :-)

Thank God for all the challenges we have. Each challenges is to mold us to become a better person.
Chakra meditation is a tool that I love to do when I feel my energy is imbalance.
Like what Harv Eker says " To change the visible, we have to change the invisible"

What are chakras and aura?

Energise yourself from within

Do you feel tired at the end of day's work?
If you know what chakras are and how they work, you can tap into this energy and you will feel energised and focus most of the time.
Chakras are spinning energy centers in the body that lie along the body's many energy pathways. They are subtle energy found in the body. Chakras correpond to various aspects of the body's physical, psychological, emotional and spiritual state.

Explore your subtle energy :

For this exercise, I would like you to sit down.
Turn your palms to face each other and then lift your arms up a a few inches so that they are free and relaxed. Your hands should be about a foot apart.
Very gently move your hands towards each other and then away.
Try and feel or sense each hand with the other. Do this a few times.
Can you feel any resistance as they move closer together?
If you are sensitive and your energies are good then you will be able to.

Tree Meditation

This is a meditation that will bring healing to your physical body as well as to release any negative emotions.
Find a quiet place. Choose a comfortable sitting or laying position.
Now I want you to imagine yourself as a tree. A big oak tree.
The sun is shining on that tree. Imagine the heat of the sun on the crown of the tree.
Feel the warmth on your face and arms.
See a golden light shining on you and you feel warm.
Thank the Sun for giving you the healing love.

Next focus your attention to your roots.
Feel the coolness of the earth around your roots.
The coolness represents the healing love from the Mother earth.
See her sending healing energy to you.
See the healing light going through your roots. Feel this cooling energy filling up the trunk of your body.
Let it brings the release and healing you need.

Thank the Sun and the Earth for sending healing energies to you
You are now fill with the loving energies from the universe.
You feel refreshed and energised.

Protect yourself from radiation

Radiation might make you think of nuclear power plants, radioactive wastes, and x-ray machines, in fact, radiation is energy in the form of waves or high speed particles and includes all forms of energy in the entire electomagnetic spectrum. Non-ionizing radiation, which includes radio waves, heat waves, and light waves are beneficial. It's the ionizing radiation that breaks chemical bonds in molecules and can damage DNA.

A good 82 percent of the radiation you are exposed to occurs naturally:
• Radon in soil and water 55%
• Cosmic radiation from the sun and other heavenly sources 8%
• Radiation from minerals in rock and soil 8%
• Radionuclides that have been in human bodies since the beginning of our species 11%

The remaining 18 percent comes from new manmade sources:
• Medical x-rays, 11%
• Nuclear medicine 4%
• Consumer products 3%

According to the Environmental Protective Agency, "By far, the largest radiation dose received by the public comes from smoking cigarettes. While cigarette smoke is not an obvious source of radiation exposure, it contains small amounts of radioactive materials which smokers bring into their lungs as they inhale. The radioactive particles lodge in lung tissue and over time contribute a huge radiation dose. Radioactivity may be one of the key factors in lung cancer among smokers." And that would apply to second-hand smoke as well.

The best thing to do is avoid as many exposures that may be harmful to your health as you can. Since some of the radiation you may be exposed to is in the form of waves, and other is in the form of radioactive particles, there are different precautions to take for each.

Engage in a monthly detox program is recommended.
